Epicor announces new automotive aftermarket leadership team

Steve Bieszczat becomes senior vice president, automotive and marketing.

Epicor Software Corp., a provider of business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail, and services organizations, has announced a new management team for its automotive aftermarket business, which serves hundreds of thousands of replacement parts manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, vehicle service providers, and consumers throughout North America and Europe.
Steve Bieszczat has been appointed senior vice president, automotive and marketing, with responsibility for the company’s industry leading automotive aftermarket electronic catalog, systems, data warehouse products, and services in both North America and Europe. Bieszczat has more than 25 years of experience with Epicor, primarily in the automotive, electrical, hardware and home center, lumber and building materials, and specialty hard goods markets. In addition to his new automotive aftermarket responsibilities, he will retain his current responsibilities for Epicor retail distribution solutions.
Scott Thompson has been appointed vice president, automotive eCommerce, a position which complements his existing role leading the Epicor Internet AutoParts (IAP) business, the aftermarket’s largest eCommerce solution linking automotive wholesalers and service providers. Thompson will take charge of the company’s growing portfolio of eCommerce and connectivity solutions as well as the Epicor Integrated Service Estimator (ISE) job estimating and parts sourcing solution for specialty automotive service chains.
