Standard Motor Products' Variable Valve Timing (VVT) program already includes more than 550 part numbers for import and domestic vehicles, and the program continues to grow.
To improve fuel economy and reduce emissions, automakers have implemented VVT technology and by 2010, 84 percent of new vehicles were equipped with VVT. This means that VVT-equipped vehicles are aging and will represent more service opportunities.
The VVT program is meant to help technicians correctly repair and maintain complex systems.

Recently released Standard VVT Sprockets are now available for another 8.8 million vehicles. This new coverage includes popular applications like the 2015-2020 Nissan Pathfinder, 2020-2021 Chevrolet Silverado, 2021 Ford F-150, and 2015-2020 Hyundai Tucson.
To further round out the program, 11 oil control valves have been released, introducing new coverage for over five million Toyota vehicles.
