Q: How did the tool/equipment function as far as saving you time?

A: The capacity of this jump starter allows it to be used to start multiple vehicles between charges. With the ability to start the larger trucks with bigger engines, I don’t have to run cords and chargers like I used to.

Q: How has using this tool impacted your shop's profitability?

A: The power that this has makes starting any vehicle quick and easy, saving time and allowing me to get the truck inside and start the repair rather than have to wait for the charger to get enough charge in the battery.

Q: What kind of setup was involved before using the product?

A: Take the unit from the box and plug in the supplied USB-C cable to start charging.

Q: How easy was it to use?

A: Very easy. There are only two buttons on the unit. One operated the functions for the LED lights and the other operated the jump start functions.

Q: How was its packaging? Did it come with any accessories?

A: It was packaged in a pretty nice cardboard box that shows what's inside for easy identification. The cables were in smaller boxes under the unit that were fitted in a shock-absorbing insert.

Q: Was there a manual included? If so, did you use the manual, and was it easy to understand?

A: It came with a folded card manual that explained its functions and everything you need to know in order to use it safely. I always read the manuals and it was an easy read. The print is a little small though.

Q: What features did you like?

A: There is plenty of power to start whatever I need it to. There are two different jump start functions: a normal function that works like most others and a force start for batteries that have less than 1V. There is also a voltmeter function that will show you the voltage of the battery. The LED lights work great and will automatically turn off after an hour. I was curious to see how long it would take to run the battery down with them. Starting at full charge I kept the white lights on for eight hours and the battery just reached 25 percent and the lights never got hot to the touch.

Q: Is there any way you could think to improve or add to this tool?

A: None to the tool itself. The packaging that the unit comes in keeps everything in place but is cardboard. I would like to see it in a plastic case with a handle so it would be easier to grab and be a bit more rugged. Other than that it’s great.

Q: What types of jobs/repairs did you use this tool for?

A: Just typical jump-starting. I also used the white LED lights while working in the dark and they work great.

Q: How does this tool compare to other tools you've used like it?

A: I have used lots of portable jumpers and this works better than them all. The only other ones I’ve used that will start the big stuff are the big roll-around units.

Q: Is there anything you had questions or concerns about in regard to the tool?

A: No, this tool is easy to use and is pretty straightforward.

Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this tool overall? Why?

A: Definitely a 10. This jumper is like having another vehicle stuffed in a box. Built to last being rugged. It had the power to start everything I hooked it to. The cables are long enough to set the unit out of the way of the engine and the LED lights make it easy to see to hook up in the dark.
