This bulletin applies to 2016 and later Volvo XC90, 2017 S90, 2017 and later V90, 2018 and later S90 and XC60, 2019 and later S60, V60 and XC40, and 2020 and later V60CC vehicles.
Unusual noises may be heard at the front/rear axles. The noise is most obvious during slow driving and turning maneuvers. The noise comes from the axle joint bellows rubber material which has a certain friction that may create a noise in cold weather.
Clean the bellows with a dry lint-free cloth and apply a spray wax (Wurth P/N 0892082500). Apply a thin and even layer of spray wax. If possible, perform this operation again two weeks after the first application.
